Cranberry Pork Chops

We just got a crock pot, it is WAY too much fun! My husband uses it as much as I do.

1 Cup frozen/fresh cranberries
1/2 cup-ish brown sugar
1 small onion, diced
4 pork chops
1-2 scoops garlic butter(pressed garlic mixed with butter and olive oil, make lots, refridgerate and it is easily spreadable)
3/4cup-ish orange juice

Pop it all in the slow cooker, eat after about 6 hours over rice.

That looks delicious. I'll have to try it out.

I'm guessing you cook this on low?

I cooked it on high to start with and then turned it down to low once everything looked like it was underway just because I'm afraid of bacterial growth here in the land of a thousand fungus'. Low would probably make the meat more tender. I'm really not sure, I'm a crockpot novice, use your best judgement.

Just finished this for the first time, I think we shouldn't have cooked it as long as it came out a bit dry but all in all it was great.

I did this but used a pork shoulder instead of chops, because the shoulder is fattier and makes it so you can cook it 6 hours on high without drying out. It was a BIG hit
